INTRODUCTION
This Readme file contains information about using
OfficeStyler T10 Printer driver and Twain driver for Windows 2000/XP. Please
make sure to read this before installing the OfficeStyler T10.
Note: Please note
that this release of OfficeStylerT10 for Win2000/XP supports the Printer and
Twain drivers only. The PC-Fax option is not supported with this version.

OPERATIONAL
ENVIRONMENT
This operates on environment listed below:
[Hardware]
* PC/AT compatible model with Intel 486 or later.
[Operating System]
* Windows 2000 Professional / Windows 2000 Server
* Windows XP Professional / Windows XP Home Edition
Appropriate drivers are provided
for each OS, please use the correct driver for your operating system.

install OfficeStyler T10 Windows 2000/XP
(1)Installation steps of Windows 2000/XP drivers
There are three ways of installing the OfficeStyler T10.
When using Windows XP, the “Found New Hardware” dialog window appears even if the OfficeStyler T10 has been installed. To prevent display the
“Found New Hardware” dialog window, please do the following steps.
2.Uninstall the OfficeStyler T10.
3.Install the OfficeStyler T10 by using the Plug and Play
procedure.
Note: Keep the power of your printer off.

Start
Windows and log on as Administrators or Power Users. |

Run
the setup.exe program to install OfficeStyler T10 Windows 2000/XP.
|

|

Click
"Next >" to continue Setup program on the "Welcome"
windows. Click "Cancel" to terminate Setup program.
After uninstall is completed, you will see the
warning message dialog. Click "OK" to restart your PC. Go back to
the step 1 to start setup again. |

Select Setup type, then click
"Next >" to continue Setup program.

Select
the installing folder for OfficeStyler T10. Click “Next >” to install to
“C:\Program Files\OST10” holder. If you want to change the folder from the
one displayed in the dialog, click "Browse..." and change to the
folder name, then click "OK".

Select
the port you want to use with installed printer. After
selecting, click "Next >".
|
|
|
|
|

If
you want to use installed printer as the default printer, click
"Yes", then click "Next >".
|
|

Setup will copy files to
destination paths.

Click
"Finish", and finally, the installation is completed after restart
your PC.

Turn
the power of printer on. Start
Windows and log on as Administrators or Power Users. |
|

2 |
The
Windows2000 or XP can automatically detect the connection for the printer as
the Plug and Play device pop up a “Found New Hardware” dialog and begin to
install. |

Follow
the Windows instruction to install the OfficeStyler T10. |
|
Note: |
|
|
Start
Windows and log on as Administrators or Power Users. Open "Add Printer" icon
in the Printers folder. |
|
-
2 |
Select
printer management control (My Computer or Network Printer Server / Local or
Network Printer) following the guidance of Add Printer Wizard. |
|

3 |
Select
the port you want to use with installed printer. |
|
-
4 |
Click
"Have Disk..." button in "Manufacturers:" /
"Printers:" window. |
|
-
5 |
Click
"Browse.." and change to the proper drive name, then click
"OK". |
|
-
6 |
Select
the OEMSETUP.INI. |
|
-
7 |
Specify
printer name. And even if you set the installed printer as the default
printer, the setting is ignored. |
|
-
8 |
Even
if you set sharing installed printer with other network users, the setting is
ignored. |
|

9 |
Print
test page to confirm that the printer is set up properly. Check on "Yes
(recommended)", then click "Finish", and finally, the
installation is completed. |
Please follow the steps to uninstall the
OfficeStyler T10 from your PC;

Start
Windows and select "Add/Remove Program" from the Control Panel. |
|

Select "OfficeStyler
T10", and click "Change/Remove". |
|
- 3 |
When your PC confirms your
selection, click "Yes". The program and all its components are
removed from your PC. |
|
- 4 |
When uninstall is done, click
"OK". |
|

5 |
You
will see the dialog box shown below. Click "OK" to confirm, and restart your
PC.
|
Please follow these installation steps to update the OfficeStyler T10 from old
version to new version;
|

Start
Windows and select "Add/Remove Program" from the Control Panel,
then remove the OfficeStyler T10 to select "OfficeStyler T10" item
under the install/uninstall tab. |

2 |
Restart PC. |
|

3 |
Install
new version of OfficeStyler T10 with the same step as "(1): Installing
OfficeStyler T10 at the first time." |
|

During
Add Printer and Plug and Play installation, you will see the Microsoft
Certification on Digital Signature. OfficeStyler T10 will ignore the warning message
if you want to continue perform the setup. |

* |
During
Add Printer and Plug and Play installation, the settings of the Windows menu
for the port setting and default printer setting are ignored. |

It’s
impossible to delete a printer job from Windows printer spooler when
using “Reverse Order Printing”. If
you want to delete a “Reverse Order Printing” job, you have to
create an error on your printer like a paper out condition, then let the
message box pop up and then press the “Cancel” button to delete the
printer job. |
